I don't want to be on a stage, singled out or in a spotlight in real life. Nooo thank you! I'd be in my seat shaking my head too! LOL I'm glad they included you, though. :) That was nice of them. Glad you enjoyed the show in the end.Dawn Wilsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06291423272908722351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32006215.post-34907304559646240502014-05-24T12:09:40.215-07:002014-05-24T12:09:40.215-07:00I'm glad you went! I'm the secretary for the music boosters so we do stuff all year long, I really hate to be singled out though. It didn't matter, the universe had it in for me because a few days later at the last band concert of the year, the teacher called up to the stage 2 of the Music booster moms whose kids were moving on to 9th grade (they go to a mid high 8th and 9th grade) I was not one of those moms and was sooo relieved. But then the two moms up there said to the teacher, what about Nancy and then he called me up too. I was sitting in the audience frozen, then I shook my head like no, you go on ahead without me, but they would not let me just sit there! and said again "Nancy...come up to the stage...) So finally I got up and went and as I'm walking up, I look up and see the kids on stage with their instruments looking at me sort of dead pan...and I realized I was holding the program, so I put the program in front of my face like, don't look at me! The kids and audience erupted in laughter and I suddenly felt better. Then they applauded for us and I thought, this wasn't so bad. LOL I looked back at my daughter and she looked like me, sort of embarrassed but pleased too. haha!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
